MetroBaltimore ENA Update

It is hard to believe it is already November! I hope everyone had a chance to participate in some of the events with the ENA Annual Conference here in Baltimore last month. The conference was a huge success - they had so many onsite registrations that they used all of their conference bags and supplies. Because of the great turnout, I heard Baltimore may be the host city again in several years! Thank you to everyone who attended the conference, volunteered as an ambassador or at the state booth, participated in tours of their facility, and generally provided a warm welcome to all of the emergency nurses.

 

We purchased a copy of the audio recordings of the conference to share with MetroBaltimore ENA members. If you or your facility would like to borrow it, please let me know and we can make arrangements to get it to you. Our November meeting is held on Sunday Nov 8 from 2-4pm at Geckos Restaurant / Bar in Canton. We have reserved the private room through the upstairs dining area. Brunch specials are available until 3pm. Here is a weblink: http://www.geckosonline.com/NewSite/index.html

November Meeting . We will spend this time developing plans for next years activities. All are invited, but space is limited, so please rsvp to me or on our Facebook group MBC-ENA.

 

Save the date: Tuesday March 16, 2010 for the MetroBaltimore Educational Day to be held at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. More details to come.

 

The MBC officer ballot will be sent by email very soon. If you are interested in running for an office, please send me a short bio by Sat Nov 7.
