We are still looking for someone to serve as Secretary. This is a good opportunity to get involved and learn more about the chapter without a big time committment. Feel free to add your name, or another ENA colleague, as a write in if you are interested.
Thank you,
Mary Ellen

William Swain Jr, RN - I am a registered nurse who works in the emergency department at Franklin Square Hospital. I also work part time on the behavioral health unit at Laurel Regional hospital. I was born and raised in Brooklyn New York where my parents and siblings continue to reside. After high school I joined the United States Marine Corps where I served for 22 years. While in the Marines I had the opportunity to travel to many places and see lots of things. While stationed in Pennsylvania, I worked with a Navy Corpsman who noticed my interest in the medical field. He asked if I would be interested in going to nursing school. At the time I didn't think I would be interested but a few years later, I took my first class and the rest is history. I graduated from Marymount University in 1999 and have been an emergency room nurse for the past 5 years.Vote for 2009 MetroBaltimore Chapter ENA Officers!
