MetroBaltimore ENA April 2009 update

Hi everyone,

The next MetroBaltimore ENA meeting will Monday April 6 starting at 6pm in the Parker Conference Center Room 1 at Good Samaritan Hospital. The topic for our meeting will be differential diagnosis and prioritization in triage, presented by Albert Struck, PA-C. Mr. Struck is the chief PA in the Emergency Department at Good Samaritan Hospital, specializing in fast-track patients. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided (even if Paul Hess has to bring them himself!). Thanks Paul!
Bring a friend -you don't have to be a member to attend.
There will be a brief business meeting following the presentation - attendance is optional.
Please contact Paul at paul.f.hess@medstar.net if you have any questions, concerns, or need directions.

We are looking for someone from each MBC Emergency Department or facility who would be interested in posting to the MBC blog: http://mdenametrobaltimore.blogspot.com/. You can post about events at your hospital that would be of interest to emergency care providers. It is free publicity, and is as easy as sending an email!  Let me know if you are interested in representing your hospital or department. (Click on the blog link above and you will even see this email!)

Also, It is not too late to register for ENA by the Bay in Ocean City, Maryland on April 22-24, 2009. Flyer is attached or is downloadable from the Maryland ENA website www.mdena.org  (There will not be an MBC chapter meeting at ENABTB on April 24).  We will be meeting in June at Johns Hopkins Bayview - watch for more details.

Thank you,
Mary Ellen

PS - Don't forget to add yourself to the MBC-ENA Facebook group!
